Description
This handwoven mestana is a sacred textile traditionally used by Andean paqos and healers as a mesa cloth — the foundation for medicine bundles and altar work. Woven by indigenous Quechuan women at the base of Apu Ausangate, one of the most sacred mountains in Peru, this cloth carries the energy of the Andes in every thread.
Each pattern and color reflects a lineage of ceremony, protection, and connection to Pachamama. It’s not just a cloth — it’s a living prayer, created with ancestral knowledge and heartful hands.
Use it to wrap your mesa, anchor your rituals, or as a spiritual covering for offerings and initiations.
